Salary & Pay Scale Details

• Probationary Officer (PO): ₹48,480 – 2000(7) – 62,480 – 2340(2) – 67,160 – 2680(7) – 85,920
  • Starting Basic Pay: You start at ₹48,480.
  • First 7 Years: You get an annual increment of ₹2,000. (After 7 years, basic becomes ₹62,480).
  • Next 2 Years: You get an annual increment of ₹2,340. (Basic becomes ₹67,160).
  • Final 7 Years: You get an annual increment of ₹2,680. (Basic reaches the maximum of ₹85,920 for this scale).

Exam Pattern

Phase I: Prelims (100 Marks - Qualifying)

• English (30 Qs), Quant (35 Qs), Reasoning (35 Qs).

Phase II: Mains (225 Marks)

• Objective (200 Marks): Reasoning & Computer, General/Banking Awareness, English, Data Analysis.
• Descriptive (25 Marks): Essay and Letter writing (30 minutes).

Phase III: Interview (100 Marks)

• Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD).
